Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that supplies those results; our servers do not retain a search copy. A message sent to us contains only the information you choose to provide, which is used to answer it.
Routine Technical Data
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser, viewed pages, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps diagnose failures and measure which material is useful. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technology.
How the Data Is Used
Limited data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and editorial improvement. We neither sell visitor lists nor assemble individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
Encrypted connections protect data in transit, and logs are retained only while needed for the purposes described above. Because no visitor account is required, this site holds no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a website maintains. Georgia does not currently provide one broad deletion right covering every data broker, so the applicable right depends on the data and law involved. Because we retain very little, a request ordinarily means checking our contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Georgia, Fulton County, or Alpharetta offices remain outside our control; correction or redaction requests must go to the custodian.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
